Organization

PJ Library – Free books for Jewish families. If you are not Jewish and practicing Judaism, please do not take these resources. That is not what it is for, and I have seen several Christian families do this because of curiosity about Judaism. The money is limited, and the demand is overwhelming, and many families are turned away.

Sifriyat Pijama B’America – Books in Hebrew, aimed at Israeli parents living in America. It is not always open to new families because the funding is limited.

Books

Honestly, there aren’t that many “Jewish” parenting books, especially if you’ve seen how many Christian parenting books exist out there. Most of the parenting books I read are from other faith perspectives or from no faith perspective at all, taking what works and leaving what doesn’t.
